Technical Background:

The CD-ROM uses a VRML (Virtual Reality Modelling Language)
plug-in for WWW-browsers to display 3D visualizations of room. An animated walk-through of the "impossible building" functions as an intuitive menu and gives access to 12 rooms. The user can explore these rooms in real-time - every room has slightly different interactive features: texts appearing and disappearing depending on proximity; navigating your way through a complex hay barn; triggering bits of 3d sound; switching between different viewpoints; triggering flashlights ; triggering animations etc.

All rooms also feature Quicktime video or sound that contextualises the experience of each room.

The CD-ROM contains:

- an interactive 3D version of the Guest House
- a documentary edit of the performance
- tracks from the original soundscore.
- an introductory text and critical responses by Paul Clarke, Kira O'Reilly and J-D Dewsbury

System Requirements:

3D graphics card; sound card and speakers; 16 speed CD-ROM drive; CPU 300 Mhz or higher; 64MB memory; Internet Explorer 4.0 (PC) / Netscape 4.7 (Mac)
